NE Tennessee's One & Only Super Regional Retail Center

Located at the crossroads where the paths of four states intertwine, Heritage Point Towne Center is poised at the epicenter of Super-Regional retail trade. Harkening back to a bygone era, when Native Americans and frontier traders traveled populated routes to exchange much-needed goods and services, Heritage Point Towne Center represents the modern day equivalent of a busy outpost, drawing shoppers along a progressive interstate infrastructure from the valleys, the mountains and the suburbs, to an area that is geographically accessible, culturally rich and appealing to a diverse demographic.

Centrally Located

Connecting Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina, the location of Heritage Point Towne Center is not only an easy drive region-wide, but is also within a day's reach of nearly 60% of the US population. The continual ebb and flow of travelers through this busy corridor vastly expands the scope of this center to a haven for hungry travelers, a respite for weary drivers and a ready repository for eagerly spent tourism dollars.

Regionally, Heritage Point will not only serve as a retail complex, but also as a tourist destination. Research shows families from throughout the region will flock to a regional shopping center that includes sporting goods and a wholesale club along with theatres, restaurants, department stores, hotels, entertainment venues, specialty stores, boutique grocers and general peripheral shopping.

The Northeast Tennessee region of Kingsport, Bristol, Johnson City, Elizabethton and beyond is hungry for a true, multifaceted super regional shopping destination. Heritage Point will inevitably become that destination. We are working with retailers around the country who will only position one store in the Northeast Tennessee marketplace and are negotiating with several major retail destination anchors guaranteed to draw major traffic from the Tri-State region and beyond. Demographic research indicates shoppers from Asheville, Roanoke, Morristown, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and regions as far west as Eastern Kentucky and as far east as a thirteen county area of Southwest Virginia will travel to I-26/I-81 interchange for the mix of shopping venues.

Add to all this NASCAR’s number one race facility, three major TVA lakes, two smaller lakes, the best fly fishing rivers anywhere east of the Rockies, the Appalachian Trail, numerous state parks, luscious mountain forests and some of the most hospitable folks in the country. Realize that over 200,000 folks make the pilgrimage to Bristol Motor Speedway twice annually with over seventy five percent of those folks driving directly past Heritage Point Towne Center. Also know that the region is home to one of the largest music festivals in the southeast, has the distinction of being the birthplace of country music and is served by five colleges and/or universities, a medical school, law school and some of the nation's finest hospitals. The region also has a great mix of diverse industries including several that have relocated their corporate headquarters here, and are now calling the mountains home.
